Candela loves singing and playing harp. She is curious and easily interested

Because of her sword (a sunblade type, s. below) she learned to be a fighting part of her adventuring group. Her spells are only secondary in combat (perhaps because she has no "power-spells"). She is very dextrous and an excellent gambler (not really "games" but in the sence of the "pick pocket" as discribed in PHB - more "slight of hands") She uses her ability in pick pockets more like that (i.e. for entertainment) than for thievery - but of course she does thievery, too. |

Each use costs 1 charge, now: 5 charges left "Goblet of depression": This golden goblet is a kind of cursed item, misused by Candela. A person touching the item with bare hands must make a saving throw vs. spells or falls in deep depression (not able to fight, only sitting around, dejectedly - until "waked up" by a companion). The item is wrapped in cloth in her backpack. "Eldath-Stone": This stone blessed by Eldath makes the wearer friend to all non-intelligent water living creatures. It can be used once (and once only!) to befriend intelligent water living creatures too (saving throw) and then gives the wearer the ability to breath water for an hour. |

History
Candela was born 1344 and grew up in Waterdeep. Her father had a small tavern. There she learned gaming and entertaining guests. With her little earned money she visited festhalls and learned there. Since these were rare events, she learned most in taverns (from other adventuring bards, story-tellers...) and she learned to craft magic, like these magic-using adventurers by looking at them and copying their gestures etc. . By "finding" a spellbook she learned, how to write down her thoughts (in the unusal, non-professional way bards do that). When she was 14 her parents died in their collapsing tavern (since a god was falling on the city...). Candela decided to stay in Waterdeep for a while, but made short explorations outside the city..There she met the halfling Tia Trippelzeh and the dwarven Fighter Sina. They had some adventures, with changing compagnions in the group. One Challenge was a Advering-Company-Contest in Waterdeep in which they won the price "best company of waterdeep". In their last adventures they met a prismatic dragon and after that they found a great treasure (beyond their imagination - see their equipment) in the "Mere of dead man". During her adventures she found some strange magic items, which make up some of her behaivior: She fights very well with her sunblade sword, using a dagger in her off-hand. In seemingly hopeless situations she throws her Goblet of depression toward her enemy hoping, that they catch it. She enjoys to scout ahead, using her broom of flying (wich she calls "Silver", because the command word is "Ho, Silver!"). Her first tries to land with the broom looked like the landing of an albatross but it was very funny to her (it´s difficult to land the brrom, because it must maintain at least half of maximum speed or the broom falls to earth like a stone...).
